Facebook “customizes” ads (U.S. only)/ Facebook adaptará anuncios (en EEUU solamente)

If you are in the U.S. and see ads that strangely take you the websites you just visited, it’s not by chance, but because Facebook is going to offer targeted ads, based on your browsing history. It does feel a bit like stalking but Facebook says that most people just want to see ads that are relevant to their tastes. There will be ways to get rid of these “customized” ads, though, and tools to set up your own ad preferences. It does not seem that Facebook will remove all ads, though, just these targeted ones. Si vives en EEUU y ves anuncios en tu página de Facebook los cuales te llevan a websites que has visitado hace poco o acabas de visitar, no es por casualidad, pero porque Facebook va a ofrecer anuncios basados en las websites recientemente vistas. Da un poco de yuyu, pero Facebook dice que la mayoría de las personas quieren ver anuncios basados en sus gustos. Facebook va a poner herramientas para poder customizar esos anuncios un poco, pero por supuesto, los anuncios no desaparecerán.
